Providing leadership is of critical importance for the modern manager as is a comprehensive knowledge and skill base in business function. This includes a working knowledge of and ability to read, interpret and act on business financials, business operations, sales and marketing and people management. Many managers come from a strong technical background where they may have acquired some management skills as they relate to their technical expertise but, it most cases, these managers often have had no training in management and therefore ‘manage’ using the skills and knowledge they have developed informally and often in positions outside of the workplace.
The management programs offered by CAL will provide the learner with a sound understanding of the principles of management as well as a practical toolkit of management skills and techniques that can be applied instantly for highly effective management. All our management programs place a strong emphasis on leadership and focus on customer service as a key business enabler and differentiator.
Our management short course programs are designed and customised to meet the needs of your organisation and your people. We do not offer off the shelf programs as we believe one size does not fit all.
CAL understands how time poor organisations are and just how difficult it has become to release a key person such as your frontline manager or team leader to attend a whole day workshop.
So, we have designed a series of management SHORT COURSE MODULES instead of whole day (or more) workshops.
These MODULES, are similar to short course workshop, with the following characteristics:
All programs are delivered over a 3 HOUR BLOCK, combining theory and activities.
Participants are encouraged to practice their new found skills in the workplace before attending the second module usually in another week.
All programs have total flexibility however most programs are two, three or four modules with the facility to “bolt on” extra modules that create value for participants.
All our management programs are designed to assist participants to manage real life situations and they provide proven techniques and tools for dealing with a variety of challenging situations that can be applied immediately on the job.
Complimentart support coaching is offered for all participants to ensure maximum effectiveness from each program and, as an extra incentive you can align the learning to an accredited program and build credits towards a qualification.
