Project Management programs cover such issues as resourcing, budgets, communication & stakeholder management, risk management and contingency planning all critical issues in every workplace that, if neglected, can have significant impact on your bottom line.
In the 21st century workplace every professional requires a sound, practical understanding of the principles of project management.
All our short course programs follow the principles of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) which is a project management guide, and an internationally recognised standard, that provides the fundamentals of project management as they apply to a wide range of projects and, all courses are built around the 5 basic process groups of Project Management:
-
Project Initiation
-
Planning
-
Executing
-
Monitoring & Control and finally
-
Project Closure
Our short course programs are designed and customised to meet the needs of your organisation and your people. We do not offer off the shelf programs as we believe one size does not fit all.
CAL understands how time poor organisations are and just how difficult it has become to release a key person such as your frontline manager or team leader to attend a whole day workshop.
So, we have designed a series of SHORT COURSE MODULES instead of whole day (or more) workshops.
These MODULES, are similar to short course workshop, with the following characteristics:
All programs are delivered over a 3 HOUR BLOCK, combining theory and activities.
Participants are encouraged to practice their new found skills in the workplace before attending the second module usually in another week.
All programs have total flexibility however most programs are two, three or four modules with the facility to “bolt on” extra modules that create value for participants.
All our programs are designed to assist participants to manage real life situations and they provide proven techniques and tools for dealing with a variety of challenging situations that can be applied immediately on the job.
